Markees R. Williams is a pastor, an artist, and a native of Los Angeles, CA. He grew up in the church and knew at an early age that Ministry and Music were a part of the divine path God had for him.
Markees has shared the stage with renowned gospel artists including Le’Andria Johnson, James Fortune, Shirley Caesar, William Murphy, Tremaine Hawkins, and Donnie McClurkin.

Markees Williams received the 2018 Rhythm of Gospel Award “Traditional Male Vocalist of the Year” for his “Yes He Did It” hit single. In 2019 he was nominated for five Rhythm of Gospel Awards for Contemporary Male Vocalist of the Year, Best Praise & Worship Song of the Year, Best Performance by Male Artists, and Praise & Worship Male Vocalist of the Year.
Most recently Markees Williams participated in the GES Summit held in London England. In September of 2023 He along with Vicky Williams (President of the Los Angeles Chapter of the Gospel Industry Network) held the first annual very successful Praise in the Park, an all-day free gospel concert featuring primarily independent gospel artists.
