Gil Fears

A Native Texan residing in California, Gil Fears is an ordained Minister of the gospel, and is associated with the Gospel Music Workshop of America and to top it all off Gil Fears is a Gospel Radio Announcer extraordinaire… He has extensive experience in Radio, Sales and Communication.  He has worked as a Gospel Radio Broadcaster for over 38 years; having ample amount of experience in Radio, Sports, TV and Public Relations.  He is known as a Community Activist, wherein he strives to make a difference every day in the lives of those he meets.  Presently, you can hear him on KPFK 90.7 FM Radio, based in North Hollywood, where he volunteers his time as Host of [the late] “Edna Tatum’s Gospel Classics”, heard every Sunday morning from 6-8 A.M.  (PST)

GIL is a former student of Faith Seminary and a graduate of Bethany Christian Bible College (BCBC), where he presently serves as an instructor, teaching the Book of Ephesians.

He is a Volunteer/Supporter of the Jr. Dixon Foundation – A Non-Profit Organization that provides prosthetic needs to Veterans and children. Gil is a supporter of the Los Angeles Public Defenders Office. His background in broadcasting includes:
