Paulette Wright is an international award-winning Gospel recording artist, author and actress. She has toured the globe impacting many countries and cities with her original inspirational and anointed sound. Paulette’s achievements are many, as she has been in the music industry since the 1970’s. Paulette Wright is a native of New Orleans, Louisiana and has been singing since the age of 4 years old. She recently released her official video “Wait On You”.
Paulette Wright sang on TBN as a guest for Paul and Jane Crouch. She has also sung for many women conferences, and meetings. She has traveled all over the world emulating the late, great Mahalia Jackson. Her travels have taken her to Rome, Sicily, Brazil, Milan, Switzerland, and England where she sang for the Pope. After a recent performance at the Fed Festival in Morocco, Africa, starring as Mahalia Jackson, the event ended with a standing ovation. For the past 18 years, Wright has hosted the Gospel Brunch for the world-famous House of Blues with Live Nation, in New Orleans, Louisiana and in Houston, Texas. Paulette has participated in the New Orleans Jazz Heritage Festival and she was highlighted on the Bobby Jones Impact Gospel Station featuring her song, “HE DID IT”.
Mrs. Wright is a phenomenal actress. She has been part of the cast for many international plays such as “Dream Girls”, “I Need a Man”, “Ain’t No Sunshine When He’s Home”, “Momma I am Sorry”, “Heaven or Hell”, and “The Mahalia Jackson Story”. Paulette has performed on stage for and with Yolanda Adams, Bishop Paul S. Morton Sr., Shirley Caesar, Mary Mary, Clyde Jones, Todd Bridges, Cuba Gooden Sr., Eddie and Shawn Levert, Chris Bolton, Lenny Lotten, Allyson Williams, Nephew Thomas, David Peaston, Eric Gable and the talented Cheryl Pepsi Riley. She has also sung the National Anthem for the NFL’s New Orleans Saints in the Louisiana Superdome. Paulette Wright is currently working on “Gospel Classic” featuring anointed songs entitled “Deliver Me”, “I’m Standing” with Endurance featuring Michael Robertson and Wallace Grant and “Peace in the Midst of a Storm” featuring V. Michael McKay and Pastor Chad Stevenson. Paulette recently released her single “Wait On You” produced by Joey Oscar of JOMOCO MUSIC and many more to come. Paulette Wright has a Non-Profit 501(C)(3) outreach organization, “Heart of Restoration”, which has the mission to reach women, men and children who have been victims of abuse, abandonment and or neglect.
She also has a prayer ministry which aids the homeless and needy. In 2019, Paulette Wright started two radio shows “Powerful Praise Gospel Hour” where she has interviewed over 300 National and Independent Artists and “Gospel Music Revue” introducing New Releases and Current Projects for Artists produced by JAW Entertainment Group.
