Tammy Padilla is an Independent Gospel Artist and Gospel Ministry Worship Leader. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her savior at an early age and was baptized at The New Macedonia Baptist Church located in Washington, DC. She served on various youth and young adult ministries prior to joining the military.

Tammy was raised in the Washington, D.C. area where she attended public schools and graduated from Maryland Forestville High School. She went on to receive her Bachelor of Science from National Louis University and Master of Business in Quality Systems Management from The National Graduate School.

Tammy served with the United States Army and retired after 23 years of active service. While in the military, Tammy was blessed with the opportunity to serve, travel, and work in diverse assignments culminating with the White House Communications Agency assignment.

During her military assignments, Tammy ministered in song on many occasions and ceremonies throughout the country, which included ministering at a White House event where First Lady Hillary Clinton hosted.

She presently is employed by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security as a Private Sector Liaison.

The Private Sector Office (PSO) advises the Secretary on the impact of the Department’s policies, regulations, processes, and actions on the private sector, and fosters strategic communications with the private sector to enhance the primary mission of the Department.

Tammy was a vocalist for Artist Ronnette Harrison-Rollins, who is also a member of the Grammy Award Recording Academy, Washington, D.C. Chapter;

and many other choirs. She has served as the Worship Leader for the Rock of Faith Christian Church in Clinton, Maryland and Mt. Enon Missionary Baptist in Washington DC.

In addition, Tammy has served as a role model and spiritual mentor to young adult women. She has a passion for the development and spiritual growth of young adults in the body of Christ. She has served as TNMBC Sunday school and Approved Workman Are Not Ashamed teacher striving to advance the kingdom’s agenda.

She has been a contributing editor for the on-line magazine “Best Life”. Tammy is a published author of a nighttime topical devotional book – “I Live for You Lord Nighttime Reflections”.

Regarding the book she has spoken at church ministry events and presented at the National Christian Educational Conference.

Currently, Tammy can be found ministering and encouraging all to “Live for the Lord” every Thursday on a Facebook Live segment “Let’s Talk About Him”, which is inclusive of interviewing guests; discussing their testimony. Her live interviews can be found in the videos on demand on Roku and Amazon Fire TV on the Gospel International channel. In addition, the live stream from the channel can be seen on the Gospel International website.

She has served as co-host, on the shows “Let’s Talk Positive Life” and What’s Going On in the DMV, on the WBGR Network.

Tammy knows that the Lord has called her to minister not just in song but in every activity. She is led by Psalm 40:3 which reads in the Amplified Bible that “And He has put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many shall see and fear (revere and worship) and put their trust and confident reliance in the Lord.” Her desire is that all will revere and worship the Lord our God.
